This sculpture was carved from a large block of Ancaster limestone, a pale creamy stone that is easy to carve.

Although small particles of fossils and shells can often be seen in Ancaster limestone, Big Foot's surface is relatively free from visible impurities.

Big Foot is about 19.5" high, 5.5" wide and 12.5" deep and weighs about 65lbs/29.55kg.
