Kiki was carved from a rough piece of limestone I found among several stones that were given to me by a kind neighbour who visited my Open Studio in 2016.  I do not know what type of limestone it is, only that it is coarse-grained and contains a large number small fossils and shells.

Kiki weighs 18.8 pounds, and is about 10 inches high.
